About Sam

Sam Deiwert established Deiwert Insurance Agency in 1990 after twenty three years as a community banking executive. Sam's has extensive experience with finance, real estate, and community development. Sam was Mayor of Delphi for eight years and the experience gained during this period of service along with his years of work in finance and real estate brings a wide breadth of life skills to the customers of Deiwert Insurance Agency. In his spare time Sam is a beekeeper and works on restoration of a family farmstead that has been in his family since 1832.

About Pete

Peter joined the Air Force in 2002 where he proudly served four years including two tours of duty in Iraq. After his service he worked for the Department of Defense and in July of 2008 joined his father at Deiwert Insurance and has quickly become an integral part of the personal lines department. He is an expert in assisting clients promptly and efficiently yet getting it done right the first time. Peter is responsible for the sales and service of all personal insurance lines including Auto, Home and Boat policies.

Peter enjoys almost anything that has to do with the outdoors, and on the weekends that’s where you’ll find him. Whether riding his bike or out for a run, he tries to take advantage of all the area has to offer.
